If it had been dark gray or steel blue, it would have complemented my decor. But it’s really a dark sea foam. Textured, chunky, looks great and I didn’t want to deal with shipping it back so I adjusted drapes and pillows to go with it. Pictures don’t capture colors accurately but the fact it was listed as Charcoal lead me to believe it might be gray….not even close.Bought this to replace the rug Kitty & I loved for so many years, but this time I didnt want to have to buy a new one after some time. So I tried the Jute Rug. Does not smell like people said it would, the cat absolutely loves it, and I also LOVE IT. I was a bit sketchy about the "massaging" effect people wrote about on different blogs and hoped it would not feel like those super uncomfortable Nike or Adidas "massaging" sandal kids had in school. I hated those. Not the case thank goodness! Only been a short time but I definitely recommend so far. :) Great price as well and no need to look further for a blend of Jute/Chenille.. .This is soft enough for the people in my house and probably yours as well.Love the color but too thick and hard to walk on… many knotsThe knotty texture feels like a massage on my bare feet. Be aware that it is a rough texture with deep grooves. Anything with casters will not roll on it. My furniture on it is stationary, so that is not a problem for me. It's perfect for my 'lake house' decor. The blue color is just a tad lighter than navy. My robot vacuum works on it but will not roll onto it from the short ends. Only the longer edges. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase.Absolutely love this rug in my living room! Layed the rug out on the floor and noticed it has dirt under it. They floor was clean before the rug went down. It’s thick and the weave allows for shock absorption so it’s great to walk on. It’s a great quality and I’m very happy with this purchase.beautiful, tough, great for pets.
