This beautiful rug came earlier than expected and an inch or two smaller than what is described-not a real big deal for me. This rug looks exactly as pictured. I was looking for a thick rug to go on a hard floor that would be comfortable for people if they were sitting on the ground. I thought I was ordering a thicker rug based on the description, the base is actually pretty thin. However, it is very shaggy and super super soft which is pretty inviting. I have never felt a rug this soft-it feels like a blanket. I ordered a ½ felt rug pad to go under it-we will see if that helps plump it up. I feel like it is a pretty good deal for the cost, even with the additional felt pad underneath.
